Amplify Surgical® Inc. Reaches Milestone of 500 Levels Treated with dualX® Expanding Interbody Fusion System

LAGUNA HILLS, CALIF. (PRWEB) JULY 29, 2020

Amplify Surgical, Inc. is pleased to announce that the company reached the milestone of treating 500 spinal levels with the dualX Expanding Interbody Fusion System.

This important milestone was achieved by Dr. Rafe Sales at St. Vincent Hospital – Providence in Portland, Oregon. After the case Dr. Sales noted, “‘The ability to expand in two directions, allowing me to place an ALIF like cage through a small posterior approach separates this implant from anything else on the market. This implant has become my first go to solution for my posterior fusions.”

The dualX technology is comprised of a family of titanium expandable interbody devices designed to expand in both width and height, implanted in lateral lumbar interbody fusion (LLIF), posterior lumbar interbody fusion (PLIF) and transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) spinal procedures. The dualX portfolio contains varying footprints, heights and degrees of lordosis with post-expansion bone grafting to provide a customized anatomical fit for a clinically successful fusion environment.

Andy Choi, Amplify Surgical CEO stated, “During these unprecedented times, I am very pleased to see continued growth and strong adoption in new regions of the country. We are extremely thankful to have such an incredible group of surgeons to work with as we continue to develop and commercialize the dualX technology.”
