Dr. Innella has 32 years of professional experience, with 28 years as an Orthopedic Surgeon. Throughout his career, he has established himself as an expert in the treatment of joint replacements, sports injuries and fractures. He became involved in his profession because he always aspired to be a doctor and provide quality orthopedic care to his patients.
Dr. Innella completed a residency at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in 1987, having studied at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1982, the University of South Florida in 1978 and Albright College in 1976. In addition, he received a certificate of competence in sports medicine from the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains affiliation with the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine, The American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American Osteopathic Association, the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, the Union County Osteopathic Association, Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Sigma Gamma.
