United Spinal’s Affiliate Service Provider Program: Greater Choice in Products and Services for Consumers with Disabilities
NEW YORK, Nov. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — United Spinal Association today announced its Affiliate Service Provider program to provide consumers, caregivers, and professionals the opportunity to discover valuable disability-related products or services, both regionally and nationally.
The Affiliate Service Provider program (http://providers.spinalcord.org), consists of an online directory offering a full spectrum of clinical care, products and services, with an emphasis on spinal cord injury and disease (SCI/D).
“We developed the Affiliate Service Provider program to ensure wheelchair users and other consumers living with spinal cord injuries and disorders can take advantage of the very best products and services – discoverable all in one place,” said Megan Lee, national sales manager at United Spinal Association.
“Convenient access to reputable support is something we know our members really want and that the larger disability community will welcome,” added Lee.
The Affiliate Service Provider program directory is housed on United Spinal’s SCI Resource Center website, which has thousands of unique visitors per month. Consumers accessing the directory can search listings by state, keyword, and category.
“We are confident that linking the directory to our Resource Center website which is heavily trafficked by disability consumers and individuals seeking timely support will only add to the program’s success,” said Lee.
United Spinal is seeking businesses that specialize in vehicle and hand controls, therapeutic and bathroom equipment, urological suppliers, scooters, wheelchairs, adaptive devices, contractors, ramp companies and other disability-related products and services.
