Extremity Medical Announces Game-Changing New Technology for Joint Preparation

Cartilage removal and joint preparation can be a time-consuming OR process, yet essential for the arthrodesis process. Obtaining congruent surfaces while minimizing the amount of bone removal has been a challenge in joint preparation, and Extremity Medical is proud to release a technology that helps surgeons overcome this obstacle.
The innovative Advanced Joint Preparation Instruments include seven styles of The Cartilaginator™, a novel joint preparation technology designed to precisely prepare the indicated joint quickly and efficiently. They are engineered to control the depth of joint preparation and minimize bone removal, as well as decrease surgical time compared to traditional joint preparation tools. The styles are anatomically contoured to match the joints, facilitating congruency of the distal and proximal joint surfaces.
A select group of users evaluated the Cartilaginator designs and provided unanimously positive feedback.
