The limited release began in August and has now concluded, Forma will now commence broad commercialization of this revolutionary system. The OptimalMTP system is the world’s first minimally invasive plate and screw solution for MIS fusion of the first metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint.
The OptimalMTP system represents a significant advancement in orthopedic surgery, offering surgeons a reliable and reproducible method to perform minimally invasive surgery on the first MTP joint. Historically, the biomechanical benefits of a plate and screw system have been limited to more invasive procedures.
