NYU Langone Medical Center’s Hospital for Joint Diseases appointed R. Shay Bess, MD, chief of adult spinal deformity in the department of orthopedic surgery, effective Sept. 1.

1. Dr. Bess will also be director of spinal deformity research and an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at NYU School of Medicine.
