Dane Miller, Biomet Co-Founder, Receives Phoenix Lifetime Achievement Award
WARSAW, Ind. – (Business Wire) Dane A. Miller, Ph.D., co-founder, former CEO, and current board member of Biomet, Inc., was named the 2009 Phoenix Lifetime Achievement Award winner. The Phoenix Award recognizes the career of an executive or entrepreneur whose efforts have led a company to a leadership position in the medical device and diagnostic industry.
Dr. Miller was honored at Phoenix 2009, “a medical device and diagnostic conference for chief executive officers that explores key issues facing the industry,” according to Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, which co-founded the event, along with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Elsevier Business Intelligence and Versant Ventures.
