Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation announced that its board of directors has made several changes.
According to a press release, Peter Arduini, who joined Integra in November 2010 as president and chief operating officer, was appointed to the roles of president and chief executive officer. He was also elected to a newly created position on the board. Stuart Essig was named the executive chairman of the board of directors.
Richard Caruso, the founder of Integra LifeSciences and its chairman of the board since its inception, will remain as director of the company.
