US Medical Innovations, LLC Announces New Distribution Agreement With CrossLink Surgical, LLC
TAKOMA PARK, Md., Dec. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — US Medical Innovations (USMI), a Takoma Park, M.D. based biomedical device sales and distribution company announced today it has expanded its sales network through a distribution agreement with CrossLink Surgical, a subsidiary of CrossLink Life Sciences, LLC. CrossLink is one of the largest orthopaedic distributors in the U.S. and the top domestic distributor for Stryker joints.
Under the new agreement, CrossLink will begin distribution of the Canady Hybrid Plasma™ Scalpel (CHPS) throughout Alabama,Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. The partnership will further promote USMI’s brand and increase market penetration of the CHPS by utilizing CrossLink’s talented and experienced sales, operations, and logistics teams, all of whom are leaders in the orthopaedic industry with an extensive and effective track record of introducing new products that not only serve evolving market demands, but help surgeons improve patient outcomes.
The CHPS is the first multifunctional electrosurgical handpiece in the world. Due to its advanced technology, surgeons are able to simultaneously cut and coagulate through biological tissue at a temperature of less than 98°F, significantly reducing intraoperative blood loss and operative time, improving wound healing, minimizing the length of stay for the patient and reducing the risk of hospital acquired infections.
