The physicians behind Duke and Wisconsin’s NCAA finalist teams

Coaches, trainers, parents and team physicians spend countless hours working with Division I college athletes to prepare them for the NCAA national champions; athletes from Duke and Wisconsin made it to the finals this year.
The physicians for each team have played a role in the team’s success this year, both with health and injury management as well as making sure the athletes were recovered and ready for their final game of the year.
Duke’s medical physicians include:
- Jeffrey Bytomski, DO, CAQSM, head medical team physician for Duke University and associate professor of Community and Family Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine
- Blake R. Boggess, DO, CASQM, clinical associate of Family and Community Medicine and assistant director of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Duke University School of Medicine
- Priscilla Tu, DO, MS, of Durham,Regional Hospital and Duke University Hospital
