New adult reconstruction, joint replacement surgeon available in Fresno Dr. Matthew J. Simons joins Sierra Pacific Orthopedics
FRESNO, Calif., Aug. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Matthew J. Simons, M.D., fellowship-trained adult reconstruction and joint replacement surgeon, is joining Sierra Pacific Orthopedics on September 1, 2015.
As a fellowship-trained adult reconstruction and joint replacement surgeon, Dr. Simons’ expertise includes a wide variety of advanced procedures and techniques to promptly and effectively diagnose and treat orthopedic injuries and conditions of the hip and knee.

After receiving his doctorate of medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Simons completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois. Following his residency, Dr. Simons underwent extensive specialty training by completing a fellowship in adult reconstruction at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, New York.
Dr. Simons is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the International Congress of Joint Reconstruction.
