Nexxt Spine Announces Building Purchase

Growing spinal implant manufacturer expands Noblesville, IN campus

November 12, 2019- Noblesville, IN- Nexxt Spine, LLC., a leading design and manufacturer of spinal solutions, is proud to announce the purchase of Northparke One at Saxony, an industrial building located at 14425 Bergen Blvd. Noblesville, IN 46060 off Exit 210 on highway I-69N.  The company has leased space in the purchased building for the previous 7 years.

Nexxt Spine recently celebrated their 10-year anniversary, a date that marks the first surgeon usage of Nexxt Spine products in a spine surgery.   Over the past decade the company has grown from a boutique design and manufacturing company to a renowned name in the spine industry.  Current headquarters for the Indiana based spine company employees over 50 staff along with a remote national sales force.

With a growing product portfolio and surgeon demand the need for additional space has become a necessity.  Nexxt Spine manufacturing requires the largest space enhancement due to a recent investment in additional 3D laser beam printers.  In the past few years the capability of in house additive manufacturing has put the company on the map for their industry recognized 3D printed porous titanium implants.  Engineering and customer service also live under the same roof; creating a cohesive work flow and optimal customer experience.

Plans are underway to renovate the current floorplan to envelop a neighboring suite to double Nexxt Spine square footage from 18,000 ft² to 36,000 ft².  Improvements highlights include tripling the size of the 3D printing room, creating a dedicated test lab, tripling the class 10,000 cleanroom, as well as, increasing office space for the Engineering and Customer Service departments.

Construction is set to begin in June 2020 and the facility will be fully operational by December 2020.  Once complete, Nexxt Spine projects the creation of 25 new jobs in the subsequent 18 month period.  Job titles of new hires will include quality control, regulatory, engineering and operations, to name a few.

“The city of Noblesville has been a great home for us and we look forward to innovate medical technologies while stimulating economic growth in the community,” says President Andy Elsbury.  “The building of a custom facility demonstrates Nexxt Spine’s commitment to design and produce industry disrupting products using state of the art equipment and infrastructure.”

A proposed incentive package is pending approval from tonight’s Noblesville Common Council meeting at 7pm.
