Nexxt Spine Rolls Out Corpectomy System to Surgeons

Top manufacturer of spinal solutions unleashes anticipated 3D printed titanium corpectomy cage to the market

March 31, 2020- Noblesville, IN- Nexxt Spine LLC, a pioneer in the design and manufacturing of innovative spinal solutions, is pleased to announce the FDA 510(k) clearance of the Nexxt Matrixx® Corpectomy System.  Celebrated as the industry leader in 3D printed porous titanium technology, Nexxt Spine is proud to offer this newest addition to their ever-expanding portfolio.

Like all of the Nexxt Matrixx® interbodies, Corpectomy will showcase its propensity for bony ingrowth utilizing masterful, inhouse additive manufacturing.  Systematic placement of varying pore sizes (300μ-700μ) along with macro/microsurfacing and bone biology relevance together result in the creation of the most recognized 3D printed truly porous implants available.  A continuous lumen allows the cage to be packed with desired biologic from endplate to endplate, preventing any voids.  Engineered to provide maximum stabilization of the spine and ease of use this system is sure to be another surgeon favorite.

The Nexxt Matrixx® Corpectomy System has been cleared for use in the cervical spine (C2-T1) and thoracolumbar spine (T1-L5) in skeletally mature patients to replace a diseased, collapsed, damaged, or unstable vertebral body due to tumor, osteomyelitis, trauma (i.e. fracture), or for reconstruction following corpectomy performed to achieve decompression of the spinal cord and neural tissues in degenerative disorders.  The system’s interbody consists of a roughened surface and aggressive inferior/superior teeth that provide initial stabilization.  Standard footprints are 12X14mm and 14X16mm with a lordosis of 0° and 6° and heights varying from 11-50mm available in 1mm increments.

“Here at Nexxt Spine we are committed to bringing exceptionally innovative products to the market,” says President, Andy Elsbury.  “The extension of our Nexxt Matrixx® line with the Corpectomy System has been highly anticipated by our surgeon network, who consistently experience superior clinical outcomes.  We are excited to expand this network and positively enhance the lives of more patients.”
