Law360, New York (July 21, 2014, 6:59 PM ET) — Los Angeles County sued a Long Beach hospital, its former president, and medical device company International Implants LLC in California court Friday, claiming their scheme to inflate the cost of spinal surgery equipment cost the county’s workers’ compensation plan millions of dollars.
