ACELL®, INC. NAMES BRAD ADAMS VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES

 

Columbia, MD – (August 22, 2016) – ACell, Inc. today announced that it has named Brad Adams Vice President of Sales. He will be responsible for directing the strategy and execution of both field sales and national accounts.

Adams has more than 20 years of senior healthcare management experience. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President, Commercial for Smith & Nephew, Inc. (LSE:SN, NYSE:SNN).

“Brad joins ACell with extensive experience in successfully managing commercial teams in healthcare markets worldwide. Moreover, he has broad expertise in both clinical arenas as well as health economics,” stated Patrick McBrayer, ACell’s President and CEO. “In addition to Brad’s leadership and sales acumen, he brings a strong understanding of the compliance and ethics obligations ACell and other medical device companies must follow. Brad will partner closely with Bill Hrubes, ACell’s Chief Compliance Officer, to oversee and enhance a compliant and ethical sales program,” McBrayer said.

Prior to Smith & Nephew, Adams was Vice President of Sales for Healthpoint Biotherapeutics, Inc. and previously served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales for two Johnson & Johnson companies: Animas, Inc. and Therakos, Inc. Adams also has experience in hospital administration and received his master’s degree in Health Administration from The Medical College of Virginia. A graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, Adams served as an Officer in the United States Army.
