AAOE Adds MotionMD® by DJO® Software Platform to the Peer Review Program™ for Orthopedic and Musculoskeletal Vendors

AAOE’s Peer Review Process creates a unique opportunity for vendors to enhance their reputation and foster deeper, more meaningful relationships with prospective clients.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE) adds the MotionMD® software platform by DJO® to the Peer Review Program™ for orthopedic and musculoskeletal vendors, connecting members with industry professionals.

The AAOE Peer Review Program™ has been established to evaluate vendors of orthopedic products, services, and solutions. Approved vendors have demonstrated a strong reputation for advancing orthopedic practice objectives.

The Peer Review Program™ alleviates the stress AAOE members experience when searching for new solutions by recommending vendors determined to best meet the needs of their community. The program requires prospective vendors to apply to an evaluation consisting of a through 11-step process with submission of supporting materials, access to existing and prospective Customers for actual end user and voice of customer surveys, plus an evaluation by the AAOE Member Peer Review Panel to determine if alignment exists.

The evaluation process focuses on identifying vendors whose values align with that of AAOE’s and who offer:

  • Enhanced productivity for the individual user and customer’s organization
  • Ease of installation and use
  • Accuracy and reliability
  • Good value for the price
  • Excellent technical support and customer service

AAOE is thrilled to announce the latest company to earn the AAOE Peer Reviewed™ designation is MotionMD by DJO. This automated software solution platform includes the VeriPro® pricing transparency and cash collection module.   In the survey conducted through the Peer Review process, survey respondents either strongly agreed or agreed that MotionMD “exceeded expectations”, provides good value, and Clinic Administrators agree they would recommend MotionMD to colleagues.

MotionMD is an intuitive, web-based, point-of-care software solution designed to support claims management and inventory dispensing. This automated paperless solution fully integrates with electronic medical records (EMR’s), electronic ordering, billing and practice management systems. The solution is designed to help orthopedic clinics improve patient satisfaction, better manage billing compliance, Medicare same or similar verifications, cash collection and streamline workflow by providing seamless interoperability with clinic records and advanced analytics. MotionMD is the market leader for DME software (SaaS) and has also received The Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST CSF) security certification for over four years in a row, thus providing Customers with a secure and protected platform for sensitive and private healthcare patient information.

“DJO has been partners with AAOE for over 25 years and today we feel truly honored to have earned this Peer Review designation for our MotionMD software.” said Brady Shirley DJO’s President and CEO. “We have enjoyed working with AAOE member organizations to help them build and grow their business.   MotionMD has enabled 34,000 medical professionals to create 4.7M electronic patient agreements supporting our commitment to help the Orthopedic Industry transform using innovative software solutions.  Orthopedic practices can rely on MotionMD to improve the way they do business, grow revenue, while also enhancing the patient experience.”

“Our MotionMD team continues to deliver compelling results by creating a more efficient way for our partners to deliver care and run their business,” said Steve Ingel, DJO’s Executive Vice President of Healthcare Solutions. “The rate of adoption we are seeing with MotionMD is solid proof that the future of the orthopedic device industry depends on adopting business practices that deliver the best products and solutions in the easiest way possible. MotionMD customers have reported improvements in efficiency and financial performance, plus the ability to spend more time with patients due to a reduction in paperwork.”

“AAOE’s Peer Reviewed Program™ lets me and the rest of the orthopedic community know that AAOE Members recognize that a given vendor offers a results-oriented solution, delivered by an organization that is easy to work with. Orthopedic practice executives no longer need to worry or wonder which products, services, or organizations are a good fit,” said Chris Greenman, MBA/MHA, CMPE, AAOE President and Chief Executive Officer for Tahoe Fracture & Orthopedic Medical Clinic, Inc.
